#2877 Comparison of Digestive and Non-Digestive Neuroendocrine Neoplasm Patient Characteristics and Survival in an ENETS Center of Excellence

Introduction: Since 2016 both digestive neuroendocrine neoplasms (D-NENs) and non-digestive NENs (ND-NENs) cases are treated within NETwerk, an ENETS Center of Excellence

Conference: 17th Annual ENETSConcerence (2020)

Presenting Author:

Authors: Vandamme T, De Backer L, Dero I, Galdermans D, Abrams P,

Keywords: non-digestive NENs, gastroenteropancreatic NENs,

#2831 Immunohistochemical Profile of Digestive Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: A Retrospective Analysis in a Single Algerian Institution

Introduction: Neuroendocrine Noplasms (NEN) are rare tumours, but their incidence is clearly increasing in our country due to the improvement of diagnostic means, in particular the generalization of immunohistochemical techniques. The digestive location represents more than 70% of the cases. The anatomopathological study enables to classify the NEN in different prognostic grades according to the degree of differentiation, mitotic index and Ki67.

#1577 Peritoneal Carcinomatosis in Digestive Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: Complications and Response to Therapy

Introduction: Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) is present in 10-30% of digestive neuroendocrine neoplasms (DNENs), affecting prognosis and quality of life with recurrent abdominal pain and bowel obstruction

#1540 FOLFOX Chemotherapy: Efficacy and Tolerability in Advanced Digestive Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NENs)

Introduction: FOLFOX has been poorly investigated in digestive NEN (DNENs), mostly in small cohorts.

#1533 Chromogranin A in the Follow-up of Digestive Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: Is It a Useful Biomarker?

Introduction: Chromogranin A (CgA) is the most frequently used biomarker in digestive neuroendocrine neoplasms (DNENs) but its real usefulness is still unclear
