Introduction: Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) are increasingly viewed as chronic diseases as a result of more effective treatments and procedures. As with any life changing events, patient and family transition to a new “normal” requires attitudinal adjustments. The Intensive Personalized Program for Daily Living with Neuroendocrine Neoplasms is a pilot program transitioning patients and their primary familial carer to a new “normal”.

Introduction: NENs are rare tumors and can grow in almost all tissues. Regardless histological, molecular and imaging characteristics that are indicative of the primary origin, a significant percentage remain of unknown primary.

#3049 Organoid Models of Neuroendocrine Cell Growth and Tumorigenesis
Introduction: A paucity of in vitro and in vivo models has limited the study of Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs). Moreover, little is known about normal neuroendocrine (NE) cells and how they contribute to NEN formation.

Introduction: Peptide receptor targeting has proven to be a pivotal tool for diagnostic imaging and radioligand therapy of neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs), which frequently express somatostatin receptors (SSTRs) on their cell surface. However, up to 30 % of NEN patients do not benefit from SSTR-based approaches, others develop a resistance.

Introduction: Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors G3 (NETsG3) pts have a different biological behavior compared to those with neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs). Sensitivity to platinum depends on Ki67 and there is no standard second line (2L). Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) are predictive factors of cancer survival, but with limited evidence in NENs.
