#3006 Teratoma with Malignant Transformation: A Case Report of a Neuroendocrine Tumor That Arises from the Bronchial Mucosa in a Mature Cystic Teratoma

Introduction: Mature cystic teratoma (MCT) is the most common type of germ cell tumor in the ovary. A malignant tumor that arises in a pre-existing mature teratoma is called teratoma with malignant transformation (TMT).

#2970 Characteristics, Treatments and Inflammatory Biomarkers in Patients (pts) with G3 Gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NENs)

Introduction: Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors G3 (NETsG3) pts have a different biological behavior compared to those with neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs). Sensitivity to platinum depends on Ki67 and there is no standard second line (2L). Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) are predictive factors of cancer survival, but with limited evidence in NENs.

#2964 Personalized Therapy in a Case of Esophageal NEC Based on Tumor Genome Sequencing

Introduction: High-grade esophageal neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC) constitute a rare subgroup of neuroendocrine neoplasms, with a particularly aggressive behaviour and unfavourable prognosis. To date, there are no validated biomarkers for personalized therapy and cytotoxic chemotherapy remains the standard of care. However, tumor genome sequencing may help improve NEC molecular landscape knowledge in order to identify novel targets for an individualized approach.

#2251 Neuroendocrine Testicular Tumour. An Unusual Issue.

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumours can arise from neuroendocrine cells throughout the body. Location on testis is rare, accounting less than 1% of all testicular malignancies.

#2116 Ghrelin O-Acyltransferase (GOAT) Enzyme and Ghrelin Receptor GHSR1a as Putative Prognosis Markers and Therapeutic Targets in Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: Specific components of ghrelin-system are associated with tumor development/ progression. We have previously described the presence of this system in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) but clinical-molecular correlations have not been elucidated yet.
