Introduction: Carcinoid syndrome (CS) often presents with flushing, diarrhea and carcinoid heart disease (CHD).

Aim(s): To assess the incidence, clinical presentation and survival of NET patients with CS.

Materials and methods: We retrospectively analyzed 650 NET patients within our institute, between 1984 and 2008, and identified a cohort of 110 patients with CS.
