Detection of Bone Metastases at FDOPA-PET in Small-Intestine (si)NET: Prevalence and Associated Factors

Introduction: FDOPA-PET has high sensitivity to detect siNET and associated metastases.
Aim(s): Prevalence and prognosis value of bone metastases (BM) has been poorly explored.
Materials and methods: All consecutive patients with metastatic well-differentiated siNET explored by FDOPA-PET at Beaujon/Bichat University Hospitals between 2009 and 2017 were included. Clinical and pathological data were collected retrospectively. All FDOPA-PET examinations were reviewed blindly by two nuclear medicine experts for abnormal bone uptake. BM were confirmed by CT-scan, MRI and/or clinical evolution. Comparisons were made using Chi-2 and Kruskall-Wallis tests. Univariate and multivariate regression logistic models were performed.
