Introduction: No existing study evaluates the feasibility and efficacy of laparoscopic liver resections in patients with mNETs. This study presents our experience of a multimodal cytoreductive approach in a NET tertiary referral unit.

Aim(s): To evaluate the feasibility of the laparoscopic approach to liver resections in mNETs.

Materials and methods: All patients undergoing laparoscopic liver resection for intra-abdominal mNETs from 04/05-10/11 were collected. Demographic, peri-operative and survival data were analysed using SPSS. Severity of operative and post-operative morbidity was graded using the Clavien system.
