Pilot Electronic Survey to Locate Nurses Caring for NET Patients in Europe.

Introduction: There is an assumed variance in the roles nurses have in looking after NET patients, and the different levels of knowledge.

Aim(s): The European Neuroendocrine Tumour society- Nurse Group wanted to locate nurses who take care for NET patients, and to explore their educational needs.

Materials and methods: A pilot study was created by developing a survey in English. This was mailed to the ENETs and UKINETs group; all healthcare professionals. A second, follow up survey was developed on the basis of the pilot study.
