Prediction of Survival for Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Tumors: A Systematic Review of Clinical Tools
#2893
Introduction: Clinical prediction tools aggregate patient and disease information to predict outcomes. Little is known about gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors (GI-NET) prediction tools accuracy and utility.
Aim(s): We sought to evaluate the quality of prediction tools in GI-NET.
Materials and methods: We systematically searched for studies reporting development or validation of tools predicting survival for GI-NET. We evaluated the tools using the Critical Appraisal and Data Extraction for Systematic Reviews of Prediction Modelling Studies guidelines and the American Joint Committee on Cancer acceptance criteria.
