Surgical Treatment of Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

Introduction: In the surgical department of First Moscow State Medical University, 335 patients with pNETs were operated on.

Aim(s): To ensure effectiveness of the surgical treatment of PNETs.

Materials and methods: There were 250 insulinomas, 52 gastrinomas, three VIPomas, four glucagonomas and 25 nonfunctioning NETs. The amount of malignant lesions was 24%.
