The Second Non-Metastatic Tumor in Romanian Patients with NETs

Introduction: NETs involve aggressive evolution as progression of primary tumor. Some cases associate a second apparently non-related tumor.

Aim(s): We evaluate the tumor profile in NET patients.

Materials and methods: Retrospective study in NET patients (Parhon National Institute of Endocrinology, Bucharest, Romania). Inclusion criteria: confirmed diagnosis of NETs, adult age at diagnosis. Exclusion criteria: medullar thyroid cancer. The database and statistics used Excel.
