Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs) comprise a heterogeneous group of endocrine tumors. Previous studies showed that mutations of p53 are extremely rare; whereas genetic changes of MEN1 frequently occur and are correlated with poor prognosis in PNET. Still, their roles in tumorigenesis remain elusive.

#3007 An mRNA-based Classifier Identifies PanNETs with Different Clinicopathological Characteristics
Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNETs) are a heterogeneous group of neoplasms that varies from indolent to highly aggressive diseases. Previous studies have suggested alterations of ATRX/DAXX as biomarkers of dismal prognosis, yet inconclusive data (especially in the metastatic setting) prevent those biomarkers to be used as routine clinical tests.

#3031 Primitive Peripheral Neuroectodermal Tumor: Case Report
Introduction: Primitive neuroectodermal tumors belong to the family of Ewing sarcomatous tumors, all derived from the same stem cell. The cells of the neural crest are believed to be at the origin of these tumors. The predilection sites of these sarcomas are para-vertebral region, chest wall and the distal ends. The positive diagnosis of primary neuroectodermal tumors requires the contribution of histopathology, immunohistochemistry and cytogenetics.

#387 Combined Blockade of Several Signalling Pathways Shows Marked Anti-Tumor Potential in Two Novel Mouse Phaeochromocytoma Cell Lines
Introduction: The current study explores novel targeted therapies for malignant pheochromocytomas (PCCs) and paragangliomas, utilizing a more benign (MPC) and a more malignant (MTT) PCC cell line. We have previously shown that the dual PI3K/mTORC1 inhibitor NVP-BEZ235 significantly reduced MPC and MTT cell viability, but increased ERK signalling.
