#1341 Interim Results on the Influence of Lanreotide on Uptake of [68Ga]-DOTATATE in Patients with Metastatic or Unresectable NET: No Evidence for Discontinuation of Lanreotide before [68Ga]-DOTATATE PET/CT
Introduction: Somatostatin receptor imaging with [68Ga]-DOTATATE PET/CT has become common practice in patients with NET. Current guidelines recommend discontinuing treatment with SSAs before obtaining a [68Ga]-DOTATATE PET/CT scan. The assumption is that unlabeled somatostatin may lower the detectability of lesions.

#588 CORRELATION OF TUMOR ABSORBED DOSES OF 177LU-DOTA-TATE TREATMENT WITH PRE-THERAPEUTIC GA68 DOTA-TATE PET/CT UPTAKE IN NEUROENDOCRINE TUMORS
Introduction: Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) with Lu-177 aroused great interest. Estimation of actual radiation doses to tumors may help therapy planning.

#1304 Analysis of 18FDG-PET/CT in Patients with Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Neoplasm
Introduction: Gastrointestinal neuroendocrine neoplasm (Gi-NEN) comprised a wide and heterogeneous group of neoplasms. Diagnosis could often be challenging due to their rarity. 18FDG-PET/CT had a high accuracy for poorly differentiated NENs.

#1340 Analysis of 18FDG-PET/CT in Patients with Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor
Introduction: Neuroendocrine Tumor (pNET) comprised a wide and heterogeneous group of neoplasms. 18FDG-PET/CT was the most widely used functional imaging for cancer in general and had a high accuracy for poorly differentiated NENs.

#1705 Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA) Uptake in a Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor (pNET) Bearing Patient
Introduction: Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is a transmembrane protein overexpressed on both prostate epithelial malignant cells and endothelial cells of tumor-associated neovasculature of many solid cancers. PSMA has been investigated already as a target in staging and detection of prostate cancer

#1826 An Intrapatient Comparison of 18FDG And 68Ga-DOTA-TATE PET/CT Imaging in Patients with Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Neoplasm
Introduction: 18FDG-PET/CT was the most widely used functional imaging for cancer, while 68Ga-DOTA-TATE PET/CT could evaluate the SSTR expression of NEN.

#2988 Epigenetic Treatment with Histone Deacetylase Inhibitor Enhances Uptake of [111In]In-DOTA-TATE by Increased SST2 Expression on Neuroendocrine Tumor Cells
Introduction: The somatostatin-2 receptor (SST2) is a target for peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). By using epigenetic drugs, which can regulate gene transcription, PRRT efficacy may be further improved due to enhanced SST2 expression.

#143 Association of somatostatin receptor 2 immunohistochemical expression with [111In]-DTPA octreotide scintigraphy and [68Ga]-DOTATOC PET/CT in neuroendocrine tumors
Introduction: In the absence of preoperative somatostatin receptor (sst) scans, knowledge of immunohistochemical sst2 tumor expression may help in predicting the success of somatostatin analogue-based follow-up studies and treatment of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
