#3034 Somatostatin Analogs for Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: Is There Any Benefit When Ki-67 Is ≥ 10%?
Introduction: The antiproliferative effect of first-line long acting somatostatin analogs (SSA) in advanced gastro-entero-pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) was shown in the PROMID and the CLARINET trials. Efficacy data in pancreatic NETs (PanNETs) with Ki-67 ≥ 10% are limited.

#31 Patterns and predictors of failure after curative resections of pancreatic endocrine carcinoma
Introduction: Pancreatic endocrine carcinomas (PECs) are generally associated with a good prognosis, above all after radical resection. In other pancreatic malignancies, predictors of failure and the role of lymph node ratio (LNR) are well-known, but prognostic factors and the value of LNR, as well as patterns of recurrence after surgery for PEC has never been investigated.

#76 Role of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography in the differential diagnosis of the pancreatic and hepatic lesions
Introduction: Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) is a new promising tool for the characterization of pancreatic lesions. This technique allows for highlighting the micro-vascularization of a lesion, especially with the use of second generation contrast media, characterized by harmonic responses at low acoustic pressures. Pancreatic endocrine tumors (PET)s were reported to have a peculiar behavior at CEUS, consisting of a higher enhancement compared to normal pancreas in the arterial phase and a rapid washout.

#102 Presentation and outcome of pancreaticoduodenal tumors in Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 1 (MEN 1) syndrome
Introduction: Multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN 1) is a rare autosomal dominant condition characterized by the development of parathyroid, pancreaticoduodenal endocrine and pituitaty tumors. Pancreaticduodenal endocrine tumors (PDETs) are a frequent manifestation of MEN 1, with a prevalence ranging from 30 to 75%, and represent a major cause of death in one-third of patients. There is continuing debate on their management, mainly on the optimal surgical strategy, due to their multicentricity and high recurrence rate.

#117 Synchronous appendiceal neuroendocrine carcinoma and mucinous cystadenocarcinoma: a case report
Introduction: Appendiceal tumors with histological features of both carcinoids and adenocarcinomas are very rare. Carcinomas of the appendix are usually mucinous adenocarcinomas with a tendency to produce peritoneal pseudomyxoma and without metastatic spread until late in the disease course. Carcinoid tumors of the appendix are a common incidental finding.

#353 Pattern and Clinical Predictors of Lymph Node Involvement in Neuroendocrine Neoplasms of the Pancreas
Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PNENs) are often indolent without pathological lymph node metastasis (pN1). Therefore, in patients with low risk of pN1, a lymphadenectomy could be avoided.
