#1539 Slit-Robo Signaling Links to Ras Activity to Suppress Metastasis and Is Associated with Time-to-Progression in Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: mRNA signatures of distinct metastatic phenotypes of pancreatic NETs (pNETs) exhibit differences in several components of the Slit-Robo axon guidance system.
Conference: 13th Annual ENETS conference (2016)
Category: Basic Science - mTOR and other pathways, signalling, receptors
Presenting Author: PD Dr. med. Christian Fischer
#912 Serial 89Zr-bevacizumab PET in Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors before and on Everolimus Treatment
Introduction: Everolimus increases PFS in patients with advanced NETs. Currently, no biomarkers are available for early selection of patients who will benefit from everolimus. Everolimus can reduce VEGF-A production by tumor cells.
Conference: 11th Annual ENETS Conference (2014)
Category: Imaging (radiology, nuclear medicine, endoscopy)
Presenting Author: MD, PhD Adrienne H Brouwers
#946 Immunohistochemical Staining of Catecholamine-Synthesizing Enzymes in Head and Neck Paraganglioma Tissue
Introduction: Head and neck paragangliomas (HNPGLs) are non-producing neuroendocrine tumors, alhough 19-28% of patients have an increased dopamine production. The high sensitivity of 18F-DOPA PET also shows that these tumors might be able to synthesize catecholamines.
Conference: 11th Annual ENETS Conference (2014)
Category: Non digestive NETs (bronchial, MTC, pheochromocytoma)
Presenting Author: Dr Anouk Van der Horst-Schrivers
#1418 Extra-Pulmonary Neuroendocrine Carcinomas: A National Population Based Study
Introduction: Extra pulmonary neuroendocrine carcinomas(EPNEC) are rare tumours, this implies lack of knowledge on the burden.
Conference: 13th Annual ENETS conference (2016)
Category: Epidemiology/Natural history/Prognosis - Registries, nationwide and regional surveys
Presenting Author: MSc. Jan Maarten Van Der Zwan
Keywords: EP-NEC
#1736 Slit2-Robo1 Signaling Activates Ras to Suppress Metastasis and Is Associated with Time-To-Progression in Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: Transcriptom analysis revealed that mRNA signatures of distinct metastatic phenotypes in pancreatic NETs (pNETs) exhibit differences in components of the Slit-Robo pathway.
Conference: 14th Annual ENETS conference (2017)
Category: Basic Science - Signaling pathways, receptors, biomarkers
Presenting Author: PD Dr. med. Christian Fischer
#1767 International Patient Survey of Physical, Emotional and Informational Challenges when Living with NETs: Understanding the Unmet Needs
Introduction: The usefulness of information sources used by NET patients is rarely explored by patient surveys of disease burden/impact on daily living, and may be key to optimizing care.
Conference: 14th Annual ENETS conference (2017)
Category: Epidemiology/Natural history/Prognosis - Registries, nationwide and regional surveys
Presenting Author: Dr Mohid Khan
Authors: Khan M, Majdi A, Goldstein G, Mellar K, ...
#2226 Approaching NETs from Many Angles: A Medical Research Paradigm to Challenge New Zealand’s Research Traditions
Introduction: NETwork! is a multidisciplinary clinical and translational research program investigating NETs from several perspectives.
Conference: 15th Annual ENETS conference (2018)
Category: Epidemiology/Natural history/Prognosis- Registries, nationwide and regional surveys
Presenting Author: Dr Kate Parker
