Introduction: Surgery for small bowel carcinoid (SBC) and lymph node (LN) metastases, when technically possible, represents the best therapy. However, surgical challenge is (i) not to recuse patients for false unresectable mesenteric artery invasion, and/or (ii) to avoid extensive small bowel resection.

#1057 Localisation of Insulinoma and Beta-Cells: Comparison of Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor (GLP1-R) SPECT/CT, PET/CT and MRI. Preliminary Results of a Prospective Clinical Study.
Introduction: SPECT/CT imaging with GLP1-R specific radiotracers like 111In-DOTA-exendin-4 have already proved to be a useful tool for the preoperative localisation of insulinomas. PET/CT has several advantages over SPECT/CT: lower radiation exposure, less time consumption and higher spatial resolution.

#1483 Biomarker and Target Identification in GEP-NET: From in Silico Prediction to Validation on Patient Tissues
Introduction: Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) are a heterogeneous group of tumors. Somatostatin agonist treatment has a key role in the management of GEP-NET. However, the prognosis of these tumors varies between individuals. There is, therefore, a need to identify novel prognostic and predictive biomarkers of therapeutic efficacy, as well as to propose novel therapeutic strategies.

#1801 Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) with a Somatostatin Receptor (SSTR) Antagonist in Patients with SSTR-Positive, Progressive Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs): A Phase I/II Open-Label Trial to Evaluate the Safety and Preliminary Efficacy of 177Lu-O
Introduction: PRRT with radiolabelled SSTR agonists is highly effective and has become an integral part of NET treatment. Tumour uptake and tumour-to-tissue dose ratios may be higher with radiolabelled SSTR antagonists than agonists. DOTA-JR11 (OPS201) is a very promising next-generation SSTR2-selective antagonist.
