#1868 Study Protocol: Prospective, Randomized Controlled Trial on the Effect of Primary Resection in Advanced Metastatic NEN of Pancreas and Midgut (PRESNENAS)
Introduction: The role of Primary Tumor resection in advanced metastatic NEN is discussed controversely.
Conference: 14th Annual ENETS conference (2017)

#2286 A Randomized Controlled Study Comparing Treatment of Gastro-Entero-Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (GEPNET) with 177Lu-DOTATATE Alone and in Combination with Capecitabine
Introduction: PRRT with 177Lu-DOTATATE (LuTate) is an effective treatment option in patients with metastatic or inoperable GEP-NETs.
Conference: 15th Annual ENETS conference (2018)

#1504 Design of a Phase 3, International, Prospective, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo (PBO) Controlled Study Assessing Efficacy and Safety of Lanreotide Autogel/Depot (LAN) 120 mg in Patients with Well-Differentiated, Advanced Typical and Atypical Lung NETs
Introduction: The international phase 3 CLARINET study showed that treatment with the somatostatin analog (SSA) lanreotide was associated with significantly prolonged PFS vs PBO in GEP-NETs, leading to a new indication approved in more than 35 countries. Like GEP-NETs, lung NETs express somatostatin receptors.
Conference: 13th Annual ENETS conference (2016)
Category: ...none of the above
Presenting Author: George Camba
Keywords: Lung NETs, lanreotide
#970 Progression-Free Survival (PFS) and Tumor Growth with Lanreotide Autogel (LAN) in Patients (Pts) with Enteropancreatic NETs: Results from CLARINET, a Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo (Pbo)-Controlled Study
Introduction: Prospective data on antiproliferative effects of somatostatin analogs are lacking in grade 2 and non-midgut tumors.
Conference: 11th Annual ENETS Conference (2014)
Category: Medical treatment - SMS analogues, interferon
Presenting Author: Professor Martyn Caplin
Keywords: tumor response
#1790 Lanreotide Autogel/Depot (LAN) in Lung Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs): The Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo (PBO)-Controlled, International Phase 3 SPINET Study
Introduction: Treatment options for advanced lung NETs are limited. The phase 3 CLARINET study demonstrated antitumour efficacy of somatostatin analogue (SSA) LAN 120mg vs PBO for metastatic gastroenteropancreatic grade 1/2 (Ki-67<10%) NETs, but prospective data on SSAs in advanced lung NETs are lacking.
Conference: 14th Annual ENETS conference (2017)

Keywords: Lung NETs, lanreotide
#2003 Comparison of Glucagon-Like-Peptide-1 (GLP-1) Receptor PET/CT, SPECT/CT and 3T MRI for the Localisation of Insulinomas: Evaluation of Accuracy in a Prospective Crossover Imaging Study
Introduction: Benign insulinomas are the most prevalent cause of endogenous hyperinsulinaemic hypoglycaemia (EHH) in adults and due to their small size difficult to localise.
Conference: 15th Annual ENETS conference (2018)
Category: Imaging and Interventions (radiology, endoscopy)

#1702 Comparative Retrospective Analysis of pNETs Treatment with Everolimus (E) and Sunitinib (S).
Introduction: Two targeted compounds are validated for treatment of pNETs – E and S.
Conference: 14th Annual ENETS conference (2017)
Category: Medical treatment - Targeted therapies

#1781 Clinical Characteristics and Treatment Outcome of Advanced G3 Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (GEP-NEC)- A Retrospective Analysis
Introduction: Advanced poorly differentiated GEP-NEC are uncommon neoplasms and treated mainly with platinum-based chemotherapy associated with etoposide.

#112 Chromogranin A is a sensitive marker for detection of recurrence in neuroendocrine tumors
Introduction: The chromogranin family is a family of large acidic proteins which are expressed in neuroendocrine cells. There are several members in this family (Chromogranin A, B (CgA and CgB) and the secretogranins). Here, we show that CgA is an excellent marker to detect recurrence in neuroendocrine tumors.
