#2286 A Randomized Controlled Study Comparing Treatment of Gastro-Entero-Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (GEPNET) with 177Lu-DOTATATE Alone and in Combination with Capecitabine
Introduction: PRRT with 177Lu-DOTATATE (LuTate) is an effective treatment option in patients with metastatic or inoperable GEP-NETs.

#334 Everolimus + Octreotide LAR v. Placebo + Octreotide LAR in Patients With Advanced NET: Results of a Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Multicenter Phase 3 Trial (RADIANT-2)
Introduction: Everolimus, an oral inhibitor of mTOR, demonstrated promising antitumor activity in patients with NET as a single agent and in combination with octreotide LAR in two phase 2 studies.
Conference: 8th Annual ENETS Conference (2011)
Category: Clinical

#1196 CBEZ235Z2401: Randomized Phase II Study of BEZ235 or Everolimus (EVE) in Patients with Advanced Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (pNET)
Introduction: EVE is an mTOR inhibitor (mTORi) approved for the treatment of advanced pNETs. BEZ235, a dual mTOR/PI3K inhibitor, may provide greater PI3K pathway inhibition and enhanced antitumor effects.
Conference: 12th Annual ENETS Conference (2015)
Category: Medical treatment - Targeted therapies
Presenting Author: Steven Libutti
Keywords: pNET, BEZ235, everolimus
#1218 Everolimus (EVE) for Advanced, Progressive Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (pNET): Final Overall Survival (OS) from a Randomized, Double-blind, Placebo (PBO)-Controlled, Multicenter Phase 3 RADIANT-3 Study
Introduction: EVE showed a significant improvement of 6.4 mo in median progression-free survival (PFS) vs PBO (HR 0.35, 95% CI 0.27-0.45; P<0.001) in patients (pts) with pNET in RADIANT-3.
Conference: 12th Annual ENETS Conference (2015)

#1224 A Randomized Open-label Phase II Study of Everolimus Alone or in Combination with Pasireotide LAR in Advanced, Progressive Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (pNET): COOPERATE-2 Trial
Introduction: Pasireotide is a somatostatin analog (SSA) that targets somatostatin receptor subtypes 1-3 and 5. An earlier phase I study showed antitumor activity of everolimus+pasireotide LAR (EVE+PAS) in NET.

#1763 REMINET: A European, Multicenter, Phase II/III Randomized Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study Evaluating Lanreotide As Maintenance Therapy after First-Line Treatment in Patients with Non-Resectable Duodeno-Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: Patients (pts) with metastatic or locally advanced, non-resectable, grade 1 or 2 Well-differentiated duodeno-pancreatic (WDDP) NETs are treated following European guidelines. Pts with aggressive disease, i.e. progressive and/or symptomatic metastases and/or with significant hepatic invasion (> 30-50%), and/or bone metastases, anti-tumour therapy should receive systemic combination of chemotherapy once disease control is obtained.
Conference: 14th Annual ENETS conference (2017)

#1790 Lanreotide Autogel/Depot (LAN) in Lung Neuroendocrine Tumours (NETs): The Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo (PBO)-Controlled, International Phase 3 SPINET Study
Introduction: Treatment options for advanced lung NETs are limited. The phase 3 CLARINET study demonstrated antitumour efficacy of somatostatin analogue (SSA) LAN 120mg vs PBO for metastatic gastroenteropancreatic grade 1/2 (Ki-67<10%) NETs, but prospective data on SSAs in advanced lung NETs are lacking.

#1795 Results from a Phase 2, Open-Label, Multicenter, Randomized Study of the Novel, Octreotide (Oct) Subcutaneous (SC) Depot Formulation in Patients with Functioning Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs) and Acromegaly Previously Treated with Long-Acting Octreotide
Introduction: Oct sc depot is a novel, ready to use formulation administered via a thin needle.

#394 Efficacy of Telotristat Etiprate in Refractory Carcinoid Syndrome: Results of a Randomized, Placebo-controlled, Multicenter Study
Introduction: Diarrhea associated with carcinoid syndrome (CS) has been attributed to excess serotonin. Telotristat etiprate is an oral serotonin synthesis inhibitor that decreases peripheral serotonin production.
