#77 Angiogenesis markers after hepatic artery embolization of liver metastases in patients with neuroendocrine tumors
Introduction: In the event of diffuse hepatic metastases, hepatic artery embolization (HAE) can be a successful treatment option in patients with well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (WNET). Although there are suggestions of activation of the angiogenesis by HAE, no information is available about the development of growth factors caused by vascular obstruction with embolization.

#78 The diagnostic and prognostic value of elevated proGRP levels in well- and moderately differentiated neuroendocrine tumors
Introduction: Chromogranin A (CgA) is the most frequently used marker in well- (grade 1) and moderately (grade 2) differentiated NETs. Although CgA is a more sensitive marker than the 5-HIAA, which was widely used until the last decade, CgA has some limitations. False-positively elevated CgA may occur in renal impairment, atrophic gastritis and during treatment of proton-pump inhibitors. Progastrin-releasing peptide (proGRP) was recently reported as a promising tumor marker for small cell lung cancer. Limited data suggests that ProGRP may be a potential tumor marker in NE tumors.

#206 Diverging Incidence and Survival Trends for Neuroendocrine Tumors due to Histological Grade
Introduction: Epidemiological data of NET are mostly classified according to the primary site of the tumor. However, a pathologic classification, irrespective of primary site, might be more informative.

#452 Clinical and Psychometric Validation of the Disease-Specific Questionnaire Module (EORTC QLQ-GINET21) in Assessing Quality of Life of Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: Quality of life (QoL) is an important outcome measure in clinical trials and is increasingly being used as an endpoint. The QLQ-GINET21 is a questionnaire developed with the EORTC QoL Group but which had not previously been validated.

#697 Grading NET: Mitosis and Ki-67 conditio sine qua non?
Introduction: The latest WHO classification for neuroendocrine tumors (NET) defines their grade according to Ki-67 and mitotic index. However, as both parameters are markers for a different part of the cell cycle, their values might not lead to the same grade.

#2748 CT-Based Radiomics for Prediction of Outcome after Somatostatin Analogues in Patients with Liver Metastases of a Neuroendocrine Tumor: An Exploratory Study
Introduction: Response evaluation and prediction of outcome of a neuroendocrine tumor (NET) remains difficult.

#2913 The Predictive Value of Neuroendocrine Transcript Analysis in Daily Practice: An Independent ‘Real-World’ Validation Study
Introduction: Assessment of disease status remains the fundamental basis in the management of gastro-entero-pancreatic neuro-endocrine tumors (GEPNETs). Circulating molecular information might be used as a liquid biopsy to predict its clinical course.
