#2926 O-Positive Blood Group Is Associated with Prolonged Recurrence-Free Survival Following Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumor (PanNET) Curative-Intent Surgical Resection
Introduction: The ABO blood group may influence the development and progression of cancer. In particular, the prognosis of pancreatic adenocarcinoma is better in patients with blood group O. This has not been extensively explored in PanNET.

#1222 The Clinical Utility of Blood Derived Gene Cluster Analysis of Neuroendocrine Tumors Using Neoplasia Hallmark Criteria
Introduction: We developed a multianalyte blood (51 transcript) assay (MAAA) for GEP-NETs with a sensitivity (98%) and specificity (97%).

#223 Management of Patients with Multiple Pancreatic Tumors
Introduction: MEN-1 syndrome is a rather rare disease. It is very complicated to manage this group of patients because of the multiple pancreatic lesions and high frequency of nesidioblastosis.

#612 Serotonin in Blood: Assessment of its Origin by Concomitant Determination of β-Thromboglobulin (platelets) and Chromogranin A (enterochromaffin cells)
Introduction: Serotonin is produced in enterochromaffin (EC) cells, taken up and stored in platelets and released during platelet activation. Measurement of platelet-poor plasma serotonin is difficult, mainly due to platelet activation during blood sampling.

#441 Tie-2 and Angiopoietin-2 Plasma Levels as New Diagnostic Markers for Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors. Data from One Clinical Center
Introduction: Data concerning circulating levels of the angiogenic factors in patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NET) still remain insufficient.

#913 A PCR-Based Multigene Transcript Analysis Blood Test Outperforms Chromogranin A in the Detection of Gastrointestinal and Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors and is Unaffected by PPI Use or Hypertension
Introduction: A critical requirement in the management of gut NETs is a blood biomarker test that is sensitive, specific and reproducible.

#1878 Measurement in Blood of a Circulating NET mRNA Gene to Predict Surgical Efficacy
Introduction: Surgery is the only curative treatment for GEP-NETs, but identifying post-surgery residual disease is difficult and often delayed.

#1195 Neuroendocrine Gene Transcript Analysis of Blood Identifies Stable or Progressive NET Disease Treated with Somatostatin Analogs.
Introduction: An issue in NET management is defining stable or progressive disease and effective treatment. An alternative to RECIST criteria is a sensitive, reproducible blood biomarker test. Somatostatin analogs (SSA) are a chief therapy but efficacy is subjective and based on symptom control and imaging.

#1571 Blood Gene Transcript Analysis Diagnoses Bronchopulmonary NETs and Identifies Progressive Disease
Introduction: Broncho-Pulmonary (BP) NETs are pulmonary neoplasms with indolent to aggressive behavior. Imaging, histology and biochemistry are limited in defining malignancy or progression
