#2990 Pitfalls in Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 Receptor Imaging
Introduction: Physiological pancreatico-duodenal DOTA-Exendin-4 uptake in the Brunner’s glands of the proximal duodenum occurs in Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R) imaging and is a known potential pitfall.

#2775 Glucagonoma: Still a Misleading Disease and the Importance of Multidisciplinary Neuroendocrine Tumor Board
Introduction: Glucagonoma is a rare neuroendocrine tumor (NET) of the pancreatic alpha cells that results in the overproduction of the hormone glucagon. This entity is typically associated with a rash called necrolytic migratory erythema, weight loss and diabetes.

#2820 Efficacy of Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy for Esthesioneuroblastoma
Introduction: Esthesioneuroblastoma (ENB) is a rare malignancy with limited therapeutic options when unresectable or metastatic. The overexpression of cell-surface somatostatin receptors in ENB is a potential molecular target making it amenable to peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT). High-level evidence supporting PRRT has been published for unresectable gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours; however, data is limited for PRRT efficacy for ENB.

#3000 Patients with Somatostatin Receptor Type 2-Negative Neuroendocrine Tumors Have Sustained Inferior Survival Rates in a Propensity Score-Matched Analysis
Introduction: Sufficient expression of somatostatin receptor type 2 (SST2) in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) is crucial for treatment with unlabelled somatostatin analogues (SSAs), or peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) using radio-labelled SSAs. Impaired prognosis has been described for SST2-negative NET patients, however studies comparing matched SST2-positive and -negative subjects are missing.

#2782 Clinical Efficacy of Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy in Patients with Neuroendocrine Neoplasm
Introduction: Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) is an established treatment of metastatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) with positive effects on both progression free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). Only a few previous studies have investigated the effect of a second series and hence a retreatment with PRRT.

#2847 Surgical and Survival Outcomes of Early Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy for Downstaging Locally Advanced or Oligometastatic Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms
Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasm (pNEN) patients often present with locally advanced or metastatic disease. The objective response rate of peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) in pNENs is 55%. Therefore, PRRT may be a possibility for patients who are not eligible for upfront curative surgery.

#2853 Succinate Dehydrogenase B (SDHB) Immunohistochemical Expression in Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumours and Correlation with Somatostatin Receptor Immunohistochemistry
Introduction: The established category of succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) deficient neoplasms includes several endocrine tumours with recent evidence that pancreatic neuroendocrine tumours (PNETs) could be included in this tumour group. The SDH complex is composed of four subunits (A-D) but loss of immunohistochemical (IHC) expression for SDHB indicates bi-allelic inactivation of any SDH component and is used as a marker for syndromic disease.

#2905 DNA Methyltransferase Inhibitor Hydralazine Induces Upregulation of Somatostatin Type 2 Receptors in Human Neuroendocrine Tumor Cells
Introduction: Epidrugs like DNA methyltransferase inhibitors (DNMTi) can increase somatostatin receptor type 2 (SST2) expression in neuroendocrine tumor (NET) cells in vitro and in vivo. This effect could be used for NET patients with low SST2 expression who are currently ineligible for somatostatin analogue (SSA) treatment. However, the DNMTi known to stimulate SST2 have either a high toxicity profile or are not yet approved.

#2947 Al18F-NOTA-Octreotide PET Imaging of the Somatostatin Receptor: First Comparison with 68Ga-DOTATATE in Neuroendocrine Tumor Patients
Introduction: Practical and economic challenges limit the widespread use of 68Ga-labeled somatostatin analog (SSA) PET, the current standard for somatostatin receptor imaging. A promising 18F-labeled SSA, Al18F-NOTA-octreotide (Al18F-OC), has recently been introduced.

#2984 AGTR1 Is Overexpressed in Neuroendocrine Neoplasms, Regulates Secretion and May Serve as a Target for Molecular Imaging and Therapy
Introduction: Peptide receptor targeting has proven to be a pivotal tool for diagnostic imaging and radioligand therapy of neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs), which frequently express somatostatin receptors (SSTRs) on their cell surface. However, up to 30 % of NEN patients do not benefit from SSTR-based approaches, others develop a resistance.
