#319 Expression of EGFR and IGF Pathway Genes in Insulinomas
Introduction: Anti-epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) therapy has been suggested in patients with inoperable/progressive endocrine pancreatic tumors (EPTs). However, various % EGFR-expressing EPTs are reported.

#1160 Exclusive Hotspot Mutation of YY1 Gene in Insulinomas and Extensive Mutation of DAXX in PNETs
Introduction: Somatic mutation of YY1 was shown in sporadic insulinoma, the main type of functional PNET. DAXX mutation occurred mainly in NF-PNET. However, YY1 and DAXX mutations in non-insulinomas and insulinomas, respectively, have not been well elucidated.

#91 Endoscopic ultrasound of 66 insulinomas
Introduction: Ultrasound is the virtual representation of the morphology of organs and tissues. Endoscopic ultrasound can be used in detailed scanning of pancreas and preoperative topical diagnostics of insulinomas. Insulinoma requires surgical treatment in all cases. This fact allows control of preoperative diagnostic methods.

#293 99mTc Labelled GLP-1 Scintigraphy with Use of [Lys40(Ahx-HYNIC-99mTc/EDDA)NH2]-Exendin-4 in the Diagnosis of Insulinoma
Introduction: GLP-1-receptor scanning offers a new approach for successful localization of small insulinomas or those that are undetectable by other methods.

#72 Reduced expression of p27 and the occurrence of CpG island methylator phenotype in insulinomas
Introduction: The molecular pathogenesis of sporadic insulinoma is unclear, though some of the genes were found to be slienced by promoter methylation. CpG island methylator phenotype (CIMP) was found in a number of common tumors and correlated with loss of expression of p27, which may contribute to the tumorigenesis of the tumors.

#249 Management of Insulinomas: Perioperative and Long-term Outcomes Following Enucleations and Pancreatic Resections in 198 Patients
Introduction: Enucleation represents the procedure of choice for the treatment of insulinomas. Considering the site and the number of lesions, however, formal pancreatic resection may be necessary.

#264 Alterations of TIMP-3 Gene in Insulinomas and Its Significance
Introduction: Our previous study on insulinoma found allelic loss of 22q12 where suppressor gene TIMP3 located. TIMP3 can inhibit tumor invasion or metastasis, but its clinical implications in insulinoma are unknown.

#477 Glucagon-Like Peptide 1 Receptor (GLP-1R) Imaging for the Preoperative Localization of Benign Insulinomas in 30 Patients
Introduction: Biochemical diagnosis of endogenous hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia is straightforward. Surgical removal of an insulinoma is hampered by difficulties to localize it using conventional radiological procedures. In vitro data suggest that human insulinoma cells exhibit a high density of GLP-1R. 111In-exendin-4 is an 111In labeled GLP-1R agonist that binds with high affinity to GLP-1R and may be helpful in localizing insulinomas.

#1186 Significance of ATRX/DAXX Expression and Alternative Lengthening of Telomeres in Insulinomas and Neuroendocrine Tumors of Small Intestine.
Introduction: ATRX and DAXX mutations associated with alternative lengthening of telomeres ( ALT) phenotype have been shown as one of the major altered pathways in pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PanNET).

#380 Diagnosis and Management of Insulinomas in a Tertiary Referral Center: A 10-Year Review
Introduction: Insulinomas are rare tumors. There are few reports of insulinoma from India. We present a retrospective analysis of patients with insulinoma evaluated at a tertiary referral center in South India.
