Introduction: Small intestinal neuroendocrine tumours (SI-NETs) represent a heterogenous group of tumours. The molecular mechanisms which contribute to progression of SI-NETs are poorly elucidated. They are considered to be molecularly distinct from neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs), which share oncogenic pathways with adenocarcinomas.

#2706 A New Possibility in SI-NET Surgery by Using a New β- Probe and 90Y-DOTATOC: A Pilot Study
Introduction: In neuroendocrine tumor (NET), complete surgery could better the prognosis of this disease: radioguided surgery (RGS) with beta-radioisotopes, as 90Y, is a novel approach focused on developing a new probe which, detecting electrons and operating with low background, provides a clearer delineation of the margins of lesions with low radiation exposition for surgeons.

#2977 Predicting Survival in Patients with a Neuroendocrine Tumor of the Small Intestine (SI-NET)
Introduction: SI-NET comprise the largest group of neuroendocrine tumors. Because of their heterogeneity, predicting survival has proven challenging. A nomogram (NG) to assess SI-NET disease specific survival (DSS) has been developed in 2010 by Modlin, et al. based on analysis of retrospective data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database.

#2805 Small Bowel Neuroendocrine Tumor Metastases: Comparison of Contrast-Enhanced Computed Tomography and 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT
Introduction: Most gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors (GI-NETs) involve the small intestine (38%) and about 50% of patients present with regional or distant metastases at time of diagnosis [2]. 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT provides improved sensitivity and specificity compared to traditional nuclear medicine techniques [4]. However, there is relatively less data comparing performance of 68Ga-DOTATATE PET/CT with contrast-enhanced CT (CECT).

#2806 Sarcopenia: Don't Judge a Book by It's Cover
Introduction: Sarcopenia is characterised by loss of muscle mass and function. We previously reported anthropometrical data for a range of NET diagnoses within 3 months of diagnosis. The majority of NET patients were overweight or obese, however reduced muscle function was observed in over half of patients regardless of BMI and other parameters.

#2831 Immunohistochemical Profile of Digestive Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: A Retrospective Analysis in a Single Algerian Institution
Introduction: Neuroendocrine Noplasms (NEN) are rare tumours, but their incidence is clearly increasing in our country due to the improvement of diagnostic means, in particular the generalization of immunohistochemical techniques. The digestive location represents more than 70% of the cases. The anatomopathological study enables to classify the NEN in different prognostic grades according to the degree of differentiation, mitotic index and Ki67.
