#130 Lanreotide Autogel for malignant carcinoid syndrome: an 8-year experience
Introduction: Somatostatin analogues provide symptomatic relief in carcinoid syndrome and recently have been shown to inhibit tumor growth in metastatic gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). Lanreotide compounds are reported to have similar efficacy to Octreotide compounds. There is limited long-term data available on Lanreoitde Autogel.

#1191 Efficacy of Lanreotide versus Follow-up in Early-stage Duodeno-Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (NETs) Related to Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1 (MEN1): Preliminary Data
Introduction: Surgery is the only curative approach for NETs, representing the first-line therapy. As most pts with MEN1 have multiple duodeno-pancreatic NETs, cure is generally not possible, unless to adopt radical surgery. Somatostatin analogues (SSAs) represent one of the main therapeutic option in functioning well-differentiated NETs. There are no perspective studies focusing on MEN1-related NETs.

#1939 Antiproliferative Effects of Lanreotide in Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors of the lung (BP-NETs, typical (AC) and atypical Carcinoids (ATC)) are rare tumors with heterogeneous behavior and molecular characteristics. For the intermediate proliferating BP-NETs treatment options are limited and unsatisfactory. Somatostatin analogues have not only anti-secretory effects, but also display antiproliferative features, as shown by PROMID and CLARINET trial. Nevertheless, their value in BP-NET is undefined so far.

#1284 Pharmacokinetic (PK) Differences Between Subcutaneous and Intramuscular Administration of Lanreotide: Results from a Phase I Study
Introduction: Data have shown that 38% of intended gluteal intramuscular (IM) injections with long-acting release octreotide were mistakenly given subcutaneously (SC); in carcinoid syndrome patients, this significantly increased the rate of flushing (P=0.005; Boyd 2013, Pancreas). Lanreotide depot(LD) recently became FDA-approved for the treatment of gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (120 mg Q4W) as a deep SC injection.
