#443 Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (NEC) and Composite Exocrine-Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (CENEC) of the Stomach: A Clinicopathological Review of 58 Cases
Introduction: NEC of the stomach is an uncommon tumor accounting for 0.5% of all gastric carcinomas and about 6% of gastric NETs. CENEC contain both areas of NEC and conventional carcinoma. The histological diagnosis is difficult.

#2279 Expression of FOXM1 in G3 Neuroendocrine Tumors (NET G3) and G3 Neuroendocrine Carcinomas (NEC G3) of the Pancreas and the Intestine
Introduction: G3 gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (G3 NET) and carcinomas (G3 NEC) differ considerably concerning their biological behavior and patients outcome. Whereas the WHO2017 classification for pancreatic NETs proposes a distinction of both groups using the Ki-67 proliferation marker (Klöppel et al. Reviews and Reports 2017), a useful marker for the subclassification of G3 intestinal NETs have not been recommended until now.

#608 Is Octreotide Benefitial in Patients with Metastatic Gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) and Hepatobiliary Neuroendocrine Carcinoma (NEC)?
Introduction: Neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs) of the gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) and hepatobiliary (HB) tract are rare and a heterogenous group of malignancies. Octreotide showed the anti-tumor activity in well-differentiated metastatic midgut neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).

#1204 Clinico-Pathologic and Survival Analysis of 211 GastroEnteroPancreatic G3 Neuroendocrine Carcinomas (GEP-NECs)
Introduction: GEP-NECs show Ki67>20% and/or >20 mitoses x10 HPF. Mixed AdenoNeuroendocrine Carcinomas (MANECs) are mixed exocrine-neuroendocrine neoplasms. NECs are associated with poor prognosis but recent findings have suggested that there is a fraction of patients showing a better than expected survival rate.

#825 Brain Metastases in Neuroendocrine Tumor Patients: Frequency and Outcome
Introduction: Brain metastases are rarely reported in patients with neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) of non-lung origin and neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) of the gastroenteropancreatic or bronchopulmonary system. Symptomatic brain metastases are associated with dismal prognosis, so early detection and treatment could be advisable.

#1444 Clinical Characteristic and Treatment Options of Patients with G3 Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in China
Introduction: Well differentiated neuroendocrine tumor G3 (NET G3) patients are a special part of neuroendocrine neoplasms with a different biological behavior comparing with other G3 patients.

#474 Difficulties in Diagnosis and Management of Neuroendocrine Tumors of the Head and Neck: A Case Report
Introduction: Primary neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC) are uncommon head and neck malignancies. They present with a varied histopathologic spectrum in sinonasal and other subsites.

#600 Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: Epidemiological Trends in Queensland, Australia
Introduction: Various studies pertaining to neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) have revealed trends in incidence and mortality over time, and regional variations. The WHO 2010 classification has attempted to more accurately reflect the differing prognoses of this heterogeneous patient population by defining various patient subsets.
