#2683 Clinicopathological Features and Prognostic Analysis of 227 Cases with Well-Differentiated Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: Gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms (g-NENs) are a group of rare tumors with a strong heterogeneity, subdivided as well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (NETs, type 1-3 g-NETs) and poorly-differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma(NECs). WHO classification(2019) for digestive system tumours has carried out a new classification and grading criteria for NENs of the gastrointestinal tract recently, there is very few relevant clinical data based on this new classification, especially for gastric NETs(g-NETs).

Introduction: Well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors G3 (NETsG3) pts have a different biological behavior compared to those with neuroendocrine carcinomas (NECs). Sensitivity to platinum depends on Ki67 and there is no standard second line (2L). Neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) are predictive factors of cancer survival, but with limited evidence in NENs.

#2739 Epigenetic Landscape of Pancreatic Neuro-Endocrine Tumors Reveals Distinct Cells of Origin and Means of Tumor Progression
Introduction: Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors (PanNETs) arise from cells of the Islets of Langerhans. The majority of PanNETs are non-functional and their cell of origin cannot be defined analysing specific hormone production. Cell of origin assessment has proven importance to identify risk factors, prevent tumour development, and tailor treatment in many malignancies. Recent data on super-enhancer signatures has suggested a potential origin of PanNET from α- or β-cells. We and others have shown that distinct epigenetic profiles assessed by DNA methylation (DNAme) characterize genomic and prognostic groups of PanNET.

Introduction: Surufatinib is a targeted inhibitor of tyrosine kinases VEGFR1, 2, & 3, FGFR1, and CSF-1R. The safety profile was favorable in 2 completed studies (NCT02133157, NCT02267967) conducted in China. A recent phase 3 placebo controlled study (NCT02588170) confirmed safety, and demonstrated superior efficacy (PFS: 9.2 v 3.8 months) of Surufatinib in Chinese pts with advanced extra-pancreatic NETs (epNET).

#74 Non-functioning pancreatic endocrine tumors: diagnostic criteria and surgical treatment
Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors were considered rare tumors several years ago. Several reports published recently have observed increased incidence of NETs suggesting that NETs are more prevalent than previously reported. Non-functioning pancreatic endocrine tumors (NFPETs), better defined as non-hyperfunctioning, are characterized by the absence of clinical or biochemical evidence of hormone hypersecretion. From the clinical standpoint, NFPETs can be either occasionally encountered or manifest clinically similar pancreatic tumors. Since both NFPET treatment and prognosis significantly differ from that of ductal adenocarcinoma and other pancreatic malignant tumors, an accurate differential diagnosis is needed.
