#2712 HORMONET: Study of Tamoxifen in Well Differentiated Neuroendocrine Tumors (NET) and Hormone Receptor Positive Expression
Introduction: We have shown immunohistochemistry (IHC) expression of estrogen (ER) and progesterone receptors (PR) in 20.8% and 18.8% of 96 NET patients (pts). An old clinical trial (Mortel C, 1984) suggested antitumor effects of estrogen/progesterone-directed therapies in NET. Yet the effects of an antiestrogen agent in NET pts whose tumor express ER and/or PR are unknown.

#2829 Everolimus-Induced Pneumonitis in Patients with Neuroendocrine Neoplasms: Multinational Study on Risk Factors and Outcomes
Introduction: The incidence and risk factors for everolimus-induced pneumonitis (EiP) have been poorly studied in patients (pts) with neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) outside of clinical trials.

#2890 Evaluation of Toxicity in Peptide Receptor Radionuclide Therapy (PRRT) for Neuroendocrine Tumors (NET)
Introduction: Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) is an encouraging systemic treatment for neuroendocrine tumors (NET). PRRT is generally safe and possesses little side effects but little is known about liver toxicity.

#387 Combined Blockade of Several Signalling Pathways Shows Marked Anti-Tumor Potential in Two Novel Mouse Phaeochromocytoma Cell Lines
Introduction: The current study explores novel targeted therapies for malignant pheochromocytomas (PCCs) and paragangliomas, utilizing a more benign (MPC) and a more malignant (MTT) PCC cell line. We have previously shown that the dual PI3K/mTORC1 inhibitor NVP-BEZ235 significantly reduced MPC and MTT cell viability, but increased ERK signalling.

#870 Telotristat Etiprate (TE) in a Cohort of Carcinoid Heart Disease Patients in Two Phase 2 Trials
Introduction: Serotonin is a key mediator of carcinoid syndrome (CS). High levels of urinary 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (u5-HIAA, a serotonin metabolite) have also been linked with carcinoid heart disease (CaHD). Telotristat etiprate (TE), a novel, oral inhibitor of serotonin synthesis, is in Phase 3 development for the treatment of CS.

#1073 The Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) SIGNETURe Neuroendocrine Tumor (NET) Registry of Australia: First Report of Patient Characteristics and Patterns of Care
Introduction: NETs remain a relatively rare malignancy. Clinical trials are often hindered by the limited number of patients available and thus registries provide important information about patterns of care and patient outcomes.
