#1271 Bone Metastases in NEN Patients - Frequency, Clinical, Therapeutic and Prognostic Relevance
Introduction: Up to 73% of patients with neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) present with distant metastases at diagnosis. Advanced stage negatively correlates with prognosis. Bone metastases (BM) are usually reported in less than 10% of patients. Improved imaging results in more frequent detection but information in general is very limited.

#9 Case Management of Metastatic carcinoid of the Foregut,Midgut and Hindgut:the relevance of Ki-67 prognostication
Introduction: The predictive value of tumor grade in the prognosis of carcinoid is insufficient and somehow misleading. The grade and differentiation in carcinoid tumors must be seen in conjunction with the Ki-67 index. The Ki-67 protein is a cellular marker for proliferation, present during all active phases of the cell cycle (G1, S, G2 and mitosis) and absent from resting cells (G0). It is therefore an excellent marker to determine the growth fraction of a given cell population. The Ki-67 labelling index is often correlated with the clinical course of carcinoid.

#1590 Treatment of Metastatic Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: Relevance of ENETS 2016 Guidelines
Introduction: The choice of first-line treatment of metastatic pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (mP-NET) is mainly based on prognostic factors. ENETS-2016 guidelines proposed treatments according to 3 groups: Group-1, patients in whom all lesions could be removed; Group-2, patients with Ki67<10%, low tumor burden, no symptoms, and stable disease, for whom a watch-and-wait strategy or somatostatin analogs are proposed; Group-3, symptomatic patients or with Ki67>10% or significant tumor burden or progressive disease, for whom a systemic chemotherapy is proposed
