Clinical Characteristics of the 5,160 Patients Included in the French Database of the French Endocrine Tumor Group (GTE)

#210

Introduction: An endocrine tumor database was initiated in 2005 by the French endocrine tumor group (GTE). Today, it comprises 5,160 patients, 70% of whom were diagnosed from 2000.

Aim(s): To display the main clinical characteristics of patients with endocrine tumors (ET) included in the database and facilitate collaborative studies.

Materials and methods: Consecutive patients of GTE centers were included via an electronic file after anonymization. All patients with a histologically proven ET were eligible regardless of the site and the extent of the tumor. Demographic, clinical and tumoral data were recorded, as well as patients' health status and the date of the last follow-up.
