Studying poor responders to Temozolomide (TMZ) in Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumours (Pan-NETS)

Project title: “Studying poor responders to Temozolomide (TMZ) in Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumours (PanNET); Unravelling mechanisms of primary resistance”.

Project aims:

  • Identifying molecular signatures able to predict response to Temozolomide in PanNET patients
  • DNA methylation, transcriptome and Copy Number Variation analysis as well as DNA sequencing will be performed on PanNET tissue from patients treated with Temozolomide
  • Bioninformatic analysis will be conducted to identify molecular signature and specific pathways correlating with Temozolomide response
  • The markers identified will be validated on additional samples.
