EUS-FNA for Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: A Single Referral Centre Experience

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET) are not an uncommon finding and recent data show the importance of EUS in diagnosis of PNET.

Aim(s): We attempt to identify the presenting symptoms, characteristic findings on imaging studies, and the utility of EUS-FNA for diagnosis of PNET.

Materials and methods: We identified patients who underwent EUS in our institution between November 2008 and September 2011 for suspected PNET. Results on clinical features, cross-sectional imaging findings, EUS findings and cytology were collected.
