#331

Introduction: Poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma has a poor prognosis, regardless of the primary site.

Aim(s): We present a case of poorly differentiated gastric carcinoma with solitary thyroid metastasis and four years survival after the surgical approach.

Materials and methods: A 71-year-old female patient had the following medical history: while known for several years to have arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus, she was diagnosed in 2007 with severe anemia. The investigations revealed a gastric tumor and total gastrectomy was performed.
