ENETS CoE Preceptorship 2025
The ENETS Center of Excellence (CoE) Preceptorship is designed to provide young clinicians and researchers with the opportunity to enhance their expertise in neuroendocrine tumour (NET) management and research through hands-on experience at an ENETS Center of Excellence.
Programme Overview
The preceptorship offers three distinct opportunities:
- Clinical Observership in an ENETS Center of Excellence (CoE)
Purpose: Enables young clinicians to gain in-depth insight into NET patient management by observing an interdisciplinary NET team in an outpatient clinic of their choice.
Awarded amount: €2,500
Duration: 4 weeks
Application deadline: 1 August 2025 (23:59 CEST)
Notification of results: 30 September 2025 - Technical skills training in an ENETS Center of Excellence (CoE)
Purpose: Allows young researchers specialising in NETs to acquire a specific skill or perform a technique not available at their home institution, essential for advancing their project.
Awarded amount: Up to €2,500
Duration: Up to 4 weeks
Application deadline: 1 August 2025 (23:59 CEST)
Notification of results: 30 September 2025 - Research Preceptorship in an ENETS Center of Excellence (CoE)
Purpose: Supports young physicians in investigating a specific clinical research question through a structured research placement at an ENETS Centre of Excellence.
Awarded amount: €2,500 (per month)
Duration: 3 months
Application deadline: 1 August 2025 (23:59 CEST)
Notification of results: 30 September 2025
Eligibility and selection criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a current ENETS member
- Demonstrate a proficient level of English
Application Requirements
Candidates must submit:
- A letter of recommendation from an expert in the field of NETs within their department, such as the head of department or a supervisor
- Copies of all academic certificates, including doctoral and other relevant qualifications
