ENETS Database (DB) Reimbursement for 2024

The ENETS Database (DB) Reimbursement for Active Participation in Levels II-III Studies is designed to:

  • Promote usage of the ENETS database, specifically in ongoing levels II-III studies
  • Promote (collaborative) CoE research
  • Provide contracted ENETS DB centers with financial support to enter high-quality patient data into any of the current levels II-III studies.

This reimbursement is aimed to alleviate resource scarcity within center teams and compensate the time required for a data manager to accurately insert high-quality patient data including answering queries. A minimum of 20 patients must be entered into any of the ongoing studies in order to qualify for financial support.

Current ongoing studies include:

  • Atypical bronchial carcinoid (ABC): recurrence-free survival after resection and analysis of therapeutic interventions
  • Real world retrospective study of therapies in lung and thymic carcinoids - A study of the ENETS Lung Task Force
  • Retrospective observational study on patients with advanced HG GEP-NEN
  • Retrospective VIPoma
  • Retrospective study on loco-regional digestive neuroendocrine carcinoma.

Reimbursements will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis providing the budget has not been exhausted. Centers may not apply for more than one reimbursement.

Payments can only be made for patient data that has been entered into the level II-III studies and accepted by the respective PIs. The ENETS Office will proof all respective patient data for quality and completeness upon application and before the reimbursement is paid to the respective center.

ENETS warmly welcomes applications from all enthusiastic and active centers participating in the ENETS DB. Submissions are open from 26 March 2024 until 31 December 2024.
