Imaging of Metastatic-Recurrent Paragangliomas and Pheochromocytomas with Ga-68 DOTATATE PET/CT

Introduction: Approximately 73% of Pheochromocytomas(Pheo) and 93% of paragangliomas(PGL) express somatostatin receptors and Ga-68 DOTATATE PET/CT may have a role in metastatic PHEO/PGLs for determination of extent of disease.

Aim(s): Evaluate the current role of 68Ga-DOTA-TATE-PET/CT in patients with metastatic PGL and Pheo

Materials and methods: Thirteen patients (F/M:9/4) who were referred to our department for Ga-68-DOTATATE-PET/CT for diagnosis of recurrences and for staging were retrospectively evaluated retrospectively.
