Multicenter Retrospective Analysis of Clinical and Pathological Features of Gallbladder and Extrahepatic Biliary Duct Neuroendocrine Neoplasm Abstract #1359

Introduction: Primary neuroendocrine neoplasm of the gallbladder(GB) and extrahepatic biliary duct(EHBD) were considered as rare malignant tumors.
Aim(s): This study was to explore the clinical and pathological characteristics and prognostic features of GB and EHBD NEN.
Materials and methods: 18 GB-NEN and 2 EHBD-NEN were enrolled from February 2001 to April 2015.

#90 The prognostic value of FDG-PET scan in neuroendocrine tumors: a retrospective analysis of 46 patients treated in one center
Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are rare and generally indolent. For diagnostic purposes, the sensitivity of FDG-PET scan is known to be low in this setting, though when positive, its prognostic value is not well-defined in NET.

#991 Primary Neuroendocrine Tumor of Extrahepatic Bile Duct
Introduction: Biliary tract primary malignant tumors are rare neoplasms. Eighty-five per cent are cholangiocarcinomas, being in exceptional cases a neuroendocrine tumor. The absence of clinical suspiction involves a difficult preoperative diagnosis.

Introduction: According to 2010 WHO grading system, all neuroendocrine neoplasms were divided into G1/G2/G3 based on Ki-67 and mitotic count. However, differentiation was also very important for the biological behavior and treatment strategy.
