Despite it being a very challenging year in terms of Covid, ENETS received more than 250 high-quality abstracts in the categories: basic science/translational, clinical scientific, case reports, and trial-in-concept/trials-in-progress. The abstract reviewing committee has selected 12 abstracts for oral presentation and 51 abstracts have been pre-selected for poster prizes.
The 6 best oral abstracts in clinical science will be presented during the abstract session on Thursday, 25 February 2021, from 13:30 – 14:45. The 6 best abstracts in basic science/translational research will be presented during the abstract session on Friday, 26 February 2021, from 16:15 – 17:30. ENETS abstract highlights will be presented in the final session on Saturday, 27 February 2021, from 15:50 – 16:20, followed by an awards ceremony at 16:20 – 16:35.
We would like to thank our continued collaboration with NET Research Foundation (NETRF), who once again encourages cutting-edge NET science alongside ENETS by co-supporting this year’s abstract and poster prizes.
ENETS is excited to announce a new collaboration with The Journal of Neuroendocrinology (JNE). We can confirm that ENETS abstracts in 2021 will be published by JNE for the main conference.
ENETS is convinced that this collaboration will prove to be attractive not only to clinicians and physicians interested in the field of neuroendocrine tumors, but also basic researchers and all ENETS members. By bringing a strong focus on neuroendocrine tumors to The Journal of Neuroendocrinology, ENETS and scientists in the field will reach a broader community within neuroendocrine science and research. This will enrich the endeavours of ENETS.
The Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF) has released its 2021 request for applications. They invite transformative basic, translational, and clinical research applications with the potential to advance the understanding of neuroendocrine tumors and their treatment. Grants range from USD 100,000 to USD 1.2 million, with specific awards available for early-career investigators. The deadline is 8 March 2021.
