Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are heterogeneous neoplasms. Pancreatic NETs (pNETs) have a broad spectrum of features. Bioamines and peptides production distinguish functional from nonfunctional tumors.
Aim(s): Retrospective analysis of clinical files of pNET patients treated at Portuguese Institute of Oncology, Lisbon (IPOLFG) from 2000 to 2011.
Materials and methods: Patients were identified through South REgional Cancer Registry and database of Pathology Department. Data were analyzed.
