Peritoneal Metastases from Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: Frequency, Treatment and Prognosis

Introduction: Data on peritoneal metastases (PM) in patients with gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) are scarce.

Aim(s): The aim of this study was to present population-based data on the frequency of occurrence, risk factors and survival of patients with PM from GEP-NETs.

Materials and methods: Data from all patients diagnosed with a GEP-NET during 2007-2013 were collected from the Netherlands Cancer Registry.
