Strategy of Combining Liver-directed Local Treatment with Systemic Treatment in Patients with Liver Metastasis of Neuroendocrine Tumor Abstract #632

Introduction: Little is known about the clinical outcomes of liver-directed local treatment (tx) in combination with systemic tx in patients with liver metastasis of neuroendocrine tumor (NET).
Aim(s): To develop optimal tx strategy using local and systemic tx.
Materials and methods: We consecutively enrolled patients with liver metastasis of NET between 1996 and 2007 and analyzed the treatment patterns and clinical outcomes.

#25 Predictors of response to radio-embolization (TheraSphere ®) treatment of neuro-endocrine liver metastasis
Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors (NET) frequently metastasize to the liver. Most patients have diffuse, and therefore incurable, disease. NET liver metastasis has been shown to respond to yttrium-90 microspheres therapy. This study aims to define factors that predict response to radio-embolization in patients with NET liver metastases.

#1047 Unresectable Gastrointestinal Neuroendocrine Liver Metastases Treated by Liver-Directed Therapies

#2682 PAK4-NAMPT Dual Inhibition as a Novel Strategy for Therapy Resistant Pancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET) remain an unmet clinical need. In this study, we show that targeting both nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) and p21-activated kinase 4 (PAK4) could become a synthetic lethal strategy for PNET.

#2683 Clinicopathological Features and Prognostic Analysis of 227 Cases with Well-Differentiated Gastric Neuroendocrine Tumors
Introduction: Gastric neuroendocrine neoplasms (g-NENs) are a group of rare tumors with a strong heterogeneity, subdivided as well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumors (NETs, type 1-3 g-NETs) and poorly-differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma(NECs). WHO classification(2019) for digestive system tumours has carried out a new classification and grading criteria for NENs of the gastrointestinal tract recently, there is very few relevant clinical data based on this new classification, especially for gastric NETs(g-NETs).
