Subtype Classification and Clinicopathological Characteristics of 78 Cases with Gastric Neuroendocrine Neoplasms

#1070

Introduction: Gastric NENs are a group of neoplasms with diverse clinicopathological features.

Aim(s): To investigate the subtype classification and clinicopathological characteristics of g-NENs in Chinese pts.

Materials and methods: All g-NEN pts treated at our hospital between Jun 2012 to Oct 2014 were subtyped with the criteria: well-differentiated g-NENs classified into 3 types: type 1, with hypergastrinemia and achlorhydria, associated with autoimmune gastritis; type 2, with hypergastrinemia and ZES, associated with gastrinoma or MEN-1; type 3, sporadic disease with normal gastrin and gastric acid secretion; type 4, poorly-differentiated NEC or MANEC. The clinicopathological features were analysed.
