The Clinical Outcome of Non-Curative Resection of Small Rectal Neuroendocrine Tumours

#2714

Introduction: Small rectal NETs are thought to be less aggressive and relatively benign. However, lymphovascular invasion(LVI) or positive margin after endoscopic resection(ER) was noticed in small rectal NETs.

Aim(s): To determine the clinical outcome of endoscopic resected rectal NETs according to the pathological status after initial resection.

Materials and methods: Retrospective audit of rectal NETs with LVI or positive margin managed within Beijing Friendship Hospital (BFH), Capital Medical University during 2011-2018.
