The Exact Prognostic Significance of Lymphatic Metastasis of Jejunoileal Neuroendocrine Tumors

#2007

Introduction: How to evaluate the prognostic significance of lymphatic metastasis in patients with jejunoileal neuroendocrine tumors (jNETs) is still not conclusive.

Aim(s): To evaluate the prognostic significance of lymphatic metastasis in jNETs.

Materials and methods: Patients with jNETs but without distant metastasis were retrieved from SEER database. Recursive partitioning (RP) analysis was used to determine threshold for number of resected nodes and positive lymph node ratio (LNR).
