Transformation to High Grade 3 (G3) Neuroendocrine Neoplasia (NEN) – Molecular Imaging, Pathologic Features and Patient Outcomes

#2842

Introduction: Transformation of lower grade to Grade 3 (G3) NEN potentially impacts prognosis & treatment options.

Aim(s): We assessed PET imaging & pathologic features and outcome of such patients (pts).

Materials and methods: Retrospective review of pts with biopsy-proven G3 progression. 68Ga-DOTATATE (GaTate) and 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT and immunohistochemistry (IHC) results (p53 and Rb) were evaluated.
