Liver Transplantation for Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors

#1552

Introduction: Neuroendocrine tumors (NET) are rare neoplasms and liver transplantation (LT) for hepatic metastases is indicated in selected cases where other therapies have failed.

Aim(s): We aimed to present results of LT for two cases of gastroenteropancreatic (GEP) NETs.

Materials and methods: We performed 738 adult-LTs from January 2008 to December 2015, with only 2 patients transplanted for GEP-NETs that were reviewed.
