Quality of Life in Patients with Neuroendocrine Tumors: A Cross-Sectional Study

Introduction: Living with cancer affects not only physical and mental health but also the social and professional life of the patient. Measuring quality of life (Qol) is one way to learn from the patient perspective.

Aim(s): To describe Qol of patients with neuroendocrine tumors (NET) in order to use patient-reported outcome in planning for cancer care.

Materials and methods: Consecutive NET patients (n=137) treated (T) or controlled only (C) at Rigshospitalet NET CoE were asked to complete a validated questionnaire from EORTC: QLQ-C30/GI-NET21. Analysis according to EORTC scoring manual.
