The Analysis of Immunohistochemistry Staining, Neuronspecific Enolase (NSE) Level and Somatostatin Receptor Scintigraphy of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasm Cases

#873

Introduction: 99mTc-HYNIC-TYR3-OCTREOTIDE somatostatin receptor (SSR) scintigraphy has been used to diagnose gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP-NEN).

Aim(s): To evaluate the value of neuroendocrine biomarkers in the diagnosis of GEP-NEN and the relationship between 99mTc-HYNIC-TYR3-OCTREOTIDE SSR scintigraphy and tumor differentiation.

Materials and methods: Seventy-seven GEP-NEN patients were included. The neuroendocrine properties of the tumors were determined by IHC of Syn and CgA.Plasma neuronspecific enolase (NSE) levels were measured, and all the patients had 99mTc-HYNIC-TYR3-OCTREOTIDE somatostatin receptor scintigraphy results.
