Introduction: We have shown immunohistochemistry (IHC) expression of estrogen (ER) and progesterone receptors (PR) in 20.8% and 18.8% of 96 NET patients (pts). An old clinical trial (Mortel C, 1984) suggested antitumor effects of estrogen/progesterone-directed therapies in NET. Yet the effects of an antiestrogen agent in NET pts whose tumor express ER and/or PR are unknown.

Introduction: Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET) remain an unmet clinical need. In this study, we show that targeting both nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) and p21-activated kinase 4 (PAK4) could become a synthetic lethal strategy for PNET.

#2258 Cystic Duct Gastrinoma in a Patient with MEN1: A Case Report
Introduction: Gastrinomas are the most common functional enteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumour in MEN1 patients and are located almost exclusively in duodenum. Biliary tree gastrinomas are rare and accounted for 6 cases in literature. Only one of these cases was restricted to the biliary tree without associated duodenal gastrinomas.

#2145 Thrombotic Risk in Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Tumors: A Single Centre Experience
Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) comprise a heterogeneous group of neoplasms associated with paraneoplastic syndromes. Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a frequent complication in neoplastic patients and it is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. To date, there have been no specific studies in NEN, except for glucagon-secreting tumors

#2124 A Case Report of a Malignant Insulinoma
Introduction: Despite rare (1-2% of pancreatic tumors/PT), insulinomas are the most common functional pNET. The diagnosis is established by demonstrating inappropriately high serum insulin levels during a spontaneous or induced episode of hypoglycemia.
