Sporadic Gastric Neuroendocrine Neoplasm Include Two Different Subtype-Two Histologically and Clinicopathologically Distinct Entity

Introduction: Gastric Neuroendocrine neoplasm (gNEN) are rare and include several entities. Sporadic gNEN may show heterogenous clinico-pathologic features, but data are limited.

Aim(s): To compare the histological, immunohistochemical and clinico-pathologic patterns between type III and type IV NEN.

Materials and methods: We retrieved 111 gastric sporadic NEN treated between 2006 and 2014, excluding amphicrine carcinoma and MANEC.
