#4611 Management strategies and outcomes for type 1 gastric neuroendocrine tumours measuring > 1cm in diameter

Introduction: Although type 1 gastric neuroendocrine tumours (T1-gNETs) are usually considered indolent diseases, the management and the outcome of tumours >1cm remain not well established.

Conference:

Presenting Author:

Authors: Dell' Unto E, Srirajaskanthan R, Saini A, Salin G, de Mestier L,

Keywords: gastric neuroendocrine tumour, gastric carcinoid, endoscopic treatment,

#4597 FIT-NETs: Assessing the effects of an exercise programme on the physical and emotional well-being of patients with advanced G1-2 NETs of GEP or unknown origin

Introduction: Physical activity programs in solid tumours have shown to improve symptom control and even survival, but their impact on NENs remains unexplored. Advanced disease, systemic therapy, and hormonal secretion in these tumours often lead to muscle wasting and sarcopenia.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Anton-Pascual B

Authors: Anton-Pascual B, Rodriguez-Gomez J, de Cima A, Herrero-Llorente A, Modrego A,

Keywords: FIT-NET, physical exercise program, Quadriceps, MEP & MIP, QoL,

#4571 Characterisation and prognostic impact of carcinoid syndrome in bronchial neuroendocrine tumours

Introduction: Metastatic bronchial neuroendocrine tumours (MBNET) are associated with carcinoid syndrome in 10 to 40% of cases. Characteristics of carcinoid heart disease (CHD) are poorly described.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Baudin E

Authors: Hescot S, Marret G, Hadoux J, Laboureau S, Haissaguerre M,

Keywords: bronchial NET, carcinoid syndrome, 5HIAA, carcinoid heart disease,

#4219 MAPK and mTOR pathway activation is associated with chemotherapy resistance and a poor prognosis in G3 advanced NENs

Introduction: Neuroendocrine neoplasms (NENs) comprise a broad spectrum of disease ranging from slowly progressive to highly aggressive carcinomas.

Conference:

Presenting Author: Catoya J

Authors: Catoya J, Anton-Pascual B, Farinea G, Modrego A, La Salvia A,

Keywords: NEN, mTOR/MAPK pathway, molecular profiling, platinum-based,

#4205 Precision medicine in advanced NENs: Molecular profiling and target actionability real world data

Introduction: Molecular profiling (MP) of NENs is not performed on routine basis and its potential clinical use is a matter of debate.

Conference:
