IMMUNeOCT: OCT LAR in the Induction of Immunologic Response in Patients with Neuroendocrine Neoplasms (NENs): A Perspective Observational and Translational Study (EudraCT2017-001613-83)
#2801
Introduction: The possible impact of octreotide (OCT) Long-Acting Release (LAR) on the immune system regulation is largely unexplored.
Aim(s): With this intent, T-regolatory (Tregs) and Myeloid derived suppressor cells (MDSC) were evaluated in the peripheral blood of NEN patients (pts) during the treatment with OCT.
Materials and methods: Study of immune-regulatory cells was conducted by flowcytometry in 35 pts (29 GEP/NET/6 Lung/NET) evaluated at T0, at 2 weeks (T2w), 1 month (T1M), 3 (T3M) and 6 (T6M) after therapy.
